随着近几年通信的大容量化和高速化的不断进展对于光纤通道或10Gb以太网等下一代高速通信网络中的设备内使用的时钟源要求在高频化和低抖动特性方面具备更高水平而且为了保证通信稳定客户偏向于使用LVDS或LVPECL等差分输出同时需要能够长期稳定工作的高可靠的差分晶振另外由于以刀片服务器为首的网络设备的信息处理量增长迅猛也不断推进了这些信息通信设备的高密度安装化和低耗电化因此对各种电子元器件的小型化和低耗电化的需求日益高涨,爱普生晶振公司已经针对大容量高速网络处理系统推出了能以基波起振高频且实现了高精度的表面声波SAW差分晶振EG-2121CB/EG-2102CB实现了在2.5V或3.3V的条件下工作的 LVDS,LV-PECL 输出使耗电量比本公司的原有产品降低了约50%,实现了低耗电。
